Between 25 and 31 October, the lowest You Pay rate in KL went down for all four currencies we followed: USD, SGD, JPY and THB. In plain terms, foreign cash got a little cheaper in ringgit at whichever changer was cheapest on the day. The moves were small, none of them reaching one percent, but they all pointed the same way.
The table shows the best You Pay rate (the lowest ringgit price) from our midday snapshot on the first and last day of the week.

Worth knowing
- MaxMoney's figures are its online-order rates, which can differ from what you are quoted at its counters.
- We take one snapshot a day, around midday, so anything that happened later in the day is not in these numbers. On each of the days above, 5 or 6 of the 7 changers we follow had rates available.
- Boards change during the day. Confirm the rate at the counter before you hand over cash.
